A CREATIVE JOURNEY

Today, I will be sharing my journey as a Content Writer at The Jesus Talks Media with you.

Now, here’s my TJTM Story:
On Saturday, 28th of January 2023, I got an email with the headline “You’re In” from The Jesus Talks Media. I remember screaming and calling my mum immediately to share the news with her. I was beyond excited to have been selected to volunteer as a writer.
Although the application process wasn’t difficult, I was still so scared. I thought of every possible reason I wouldn’t get selected. I really wanted to get in.
I applied for this role because I bought into the vision of TJTM; To see men deeply rooted in Christ Jesus through the media.
As a Christian creative, I wanted to be a part of this promising vision by lending my content writing skills.
It’s been 4 months and 2 weeks since I joined The Jesus Talks Media, and it has been such a beautiful and an insightful ride that I do not take for granted. With every article written, I have experienced significant growth as a writer.
I have improved my time management skill, learnt effective communication and efficient team work in the last 4 months. I have worked with creative people who have helped sharpen my own creativity. And I have learned valuable lessons that will stay with me for a lifetime.
Every feedback and comment has encouraged me to do more with my writing skill. And with the help of the Holy Spirit, I will.
Dear reader, I’ll keep pouring out my heart to you. I pray to be continually inspired by Abba to write. And it is my prayer that as you read our blog, your life is renewed and transformed.
Lastly, I would like to encourage you to lend your skill(s) in as many ways as you can to propagate the Gospel here on earth.
Remember, the goal is to take the world for Jesus, until the kingdoms of this world become the kingdoms of our Lord and His Christ!
