First up, we have the lovely new EP Hexagon from Anendlessocean. But the real highlight today is the highly anticipated Olulana from the amazing Ademola Makinde. This incredible artist has been on a journey of artistic and spiritual growth, and we were fortunate to have had a conversation with him earlier this week about creating this remarkable new release.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

When we spoke to Ademola Makinde about his powerful new song, it was clear that this song is much more than just a creative pursuit for him. As an introvert who started singing in his church choir at age 10, Ademola sees his kind of music as an assignment from God. He is extremely intentional about the lyrics he writes, critically examining every word to ensure it aligns with his faith and values.

Olulana itself started as an honest conversation with the Lord. It’s a candid song expressing Ademola’s journey of trusting God regardless of uncertainties. With its uplifting lyrics and soulful melodies, the song will bring hope and reassurance in the hearts of listeners.

At its core, Olulana carries a powerful message: God can be trusted completely. He is our Olulana, our Way Maker who clears the path before us. He is our Olugbeja, our Defender who protects us from harm. No matter what challenges we face, we can take comfort in knowing our loving Father will guide us through.
