JESUS’ POV

It was at the start of the week when Mary and the other women came looking for me at the tomb.

I wish they had remembered the prophecies or at least the words that I had spoken to them.

Reaching the tomb, they met it empty. I had risen and prophecy had been fulfilled before their eyes.

The temple that was destroyed had been raised on the third day.

The women became perplexed about what they saw and two Angels appeared to them, saying, “why do you seek the living among the dead? “He is not here, He is risen”.

The Angels brought to their remembrance, my words in Galilee, that “I the son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and on the third day rise again”.

They returned from the tomb and told the eleven all that they had witnessed, and they didn’t believe them. But Peter arose and ran to the tomb and stooping down, he saw the linen clothes I was wrapped in two (2) days before lying by themselves and he departed, marveling to himself at what had happened.

I wished that Peter had at this moment, remembered and was not at all surprised at what he saw, because time and again I had spoken of my resurrection.

He didn’t know the tomb was too weak to hold my body and, not even the guards could have withheld me from resurrecting.

Afterward, I appeared to all my disciples and they were terrified, thinking they had seen a ghost or a spirit.

Then I asked, “why are you troubled and why do you doubt in your hearts?”

“Come, come see my hands and feet where nails were thrust, feel and hold it”. This is me in flesh and blood, not a ghost, fear not”. In that instance, they were all filled with joy.

I began to explain to them in all the scripture how it was written concerning me. I, whom the Prophets and Psalmists wrote about, dwelt with man, died for man, and now I am risen that man may be justified.

“Now hear me, my disciples, I am leaving not to be with you at specific places physically anymore, but to now reside in you and wherever you are, I am by my Spirit,” I said.

I conquered death for you, so you can live eternally. You have been justified, forgiven, and free from every curse of the law.

Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Galatians 3 vs 13–14.

You are now, sealed with the Holy Spirit as proof that you are mine and the resurrection power inhabits you.

In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory. Ephesians 1:13

You are not going to walk through this life like an orphan, God is now Daddy and you have access to Him.

And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God. 1 John 5 vs 11–13.

For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” Romans 8 vs 15

All of these and more because the tomb is empty.

I am Jesus, I am the son of God, I am the Saviour of the world and I am risen.

Jesus’ POV is based on Luke chp 24.
