I care for you still and I will, FOREVER

Dear reader,

How have you been?

Before immersing yourself in today’s post, kindly click on this link.

Plug in your earphones and listen to “How He Loves Instrumental” by Mass Anthem. (put it on repeat too) 😉

Now, if I may ask, do you ever feel alone? Unseen? Or at a loss?

It’s a terrible feeling to have and I’m so sorry if you’re experiencing this now. I pray that God breathes peace and guides you through every storm. May he lift your head and strengthen your knees.

Today, I see you just like Jesus saw the woman with the issue of blood and I’m here to remind you that he cares for you.

“ A woman in the crowd had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding. She had suffered a great deal from many doctors, and over the years she had spent everything she had to pay them, but she had gotten no better. She had gotten worse. She thought, “If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed.” Immediately the bleeding stopped, and she could feel in her body that she had been healed of her terrible condition.” -‭‭Mark‬ ‭5:25‭-‬26‬ ‭NLT‬‬

While reading her story, I couldn’t help but wonder how much she must have questioned herself before she touched him.

“These people know me as unclean, they may throw stones at me”.

“What if He despises me?”

“I’ve heard of his healing power, but will I be able to get help?”

According to Jewish law, anything unclean is separated from the people. Whatever she sits or touches becomes unclean. Imagine not being able to participate in feasts or join her family at the temple to offer sacrifices.

Beyond the woman who touched Jesus’ garment was a woman who believed in God’s ability to cure her despite her numerous medical reports.

It’s safe to say that money was not a restriction because she went from physician to physician. However, travelling from one physician to another in a heavy garment with uncomfortable clothing must have been draining and tiring.

For you, it might not be a health challenge like hers. Rather, it could be something that challenges your peace.

Considering how Jesus responded to her, it’s evident that he cares so much for our mortal bodies as much as He wants our spirits to prosper.

Then the frightened woman, trembling at the realization of what had happened to her, came and fell to her knees in front of him and told him what she had done. And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace. Your suffering is over.”-‭‭Mark‬ ‭5:33‭-‬34‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Today, I bring the testimony of the beautiful works of Jesus.

I know a man who did things not done before, and he is still doing much more than he did for the woman with the issue of blood or Jarius’ little daughter.

Reading this blog post might be exactly what you need to take a leap of faith and touch him.

Here’s a word of prayer for you:

I pray for God’s healing touch to be upon you who is suffering, whether it be from physical illness, emotional pain, or spiritual distress.

I ask for the presence of the Holy Spirit to be felt in your life, bringing you peace that surpasses understanding and a sense of abiding love. I pray He surrounds you with caring friends and family members who can offer support and encouragement during this difficult time.

I also pray for everyone caring for the sick and hurting, whether as medical professionals, caregivers, or loved ones. I pray God grants you wisdom, patience, and strength as you minister to the needs of others, and may you be a source of comfort and light amid darkness.

Finally, I pray God helps us to cling to His promises and find hope and peace in His unfailing love.

Amen!

P.S. I watched an episode in the Chosen series that blessed me so much and opened my eyes to see the unspoken problems of the woman with the issue of blood.

You can also watch it; The Chosen Season 3 Episodes 4 & 5

Till I write to you again, stay blessed!

Koko 💛
